Animation is on the verge of a new era. You can create your avatar and interact with other characters, or even become one. Let me tell you, I met Robert V. Ries a few years ago at a coffee shop. Bob told me that he believed our life experience was nothing but a simulator that put us in organic bodies to experience Earthlings Realm, and to test our character and will to survive.
He continued to explain that we were interfacing with multiple simulators. He was very open to discussing his theories, even though they seemed a bit far-fetched. However, he did give a detailed scientific explanation of how it might work. He described the advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Simulation, Electronic Gaming, and modern movies like Vanilla Sky, The Matrix, Fight Club. We also discussed the Department of Defense’s Net Centric Battlespaces, where targets were displayed in augmented reality. Also, how night vision and eye tracking systems could be used to interface with the silicon world in a 4-D world that allowed you to see below, above and 360 degrees.
He described the paradigms of mind, time, and space. Other concepts were also brought up, including NASA’s ten-screen Air Traffic Control Simulators, Sci-Fi writer Ben Bova’s insights on Mars and space tourism, Bill Gate’s investment in Six Flags Magic Mountain, and DARPA’s mapping of a human existence, which includes the conversations, movies, and experiences of humans from birth to death.
In fact, the discussion covered all aspects of simulation, from truck driving to first aid. I realized that the life experience could certainly be a simulator with the technology we have at our disposal. The two of them were also discussing issues that one was in an animation state where their bodies didn’t move, but they remained in the simulation of life. Their bodies were then flipped over and biometrically monitored to prevent entropy, similar to the movie Coma.
It might not be so bad if you can choose your dream or simulation rather than having to face reality. The conversation also brought up another thought that was intriguing. It is the possibility of using a collective human mind of people who are currently in the simulator. Because many brain parts would not be used, they would be connected at a quantum level to work together on problems and be fully exercised while the rest of their brain was fully engaged in the simulator. We found that by increasing the participant’s dreamtime, we could increase their lifespan by ten times and still borrow some brain capacity.
Further, we speculated that brain could be used in the simulator during pretend dreams times to bring them down to 1-5Hz frequency for super immune healing, blood filtration cleaning, and ion-therapy. While operating at low frequencies, the mind would be in a state of flux that blurred what we consider time. Then, we could send others into this simulator to ask them questions and interact with them. Finally, we could report back on the results and potential futures of their brains.
The person would feel younger and healthier when they woke up. They also would be able to live many more years ahead of their real life. And then, they could return to society without any psychological or health problems. Who would be willing to do this? This is not the place to pay. We thought of anyone suffering from a terminal illness, anyone who was unable to cope, anyone who felt they were living in an inappropriate time or who wanted to live a life that was extreme. It would be ideal for people who are seeking extreme pleasure, adversity, or challenge seekers. Also, it would be great to help offenders in society or prison rehabilitation. They would donate their brain capacity to the collective, learn a new skill, and be cured from disruptive behavior.
